Inventor Gatherings

The Mission of Public Invention is to "Invent in the public, for the public."

About the Monthly Public Invention Gatherings

Our Inventor Gatherings provide a dynamic platform for a diverse group of STEM professionals—ranging from students and mentors to academics, leaders, startup CEOs, and innovators—to engage in insightful discussions and collaborative learning. These monthly virtual events foster an inclusive environment for meaningful dialogue, sparking innovation while connecting interns, volunteers, board members, and supporters of Public Invention. Hosted by a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Public Invention relies on the generosity of public donations, and we deeply appreciate every contribution made to support our mission.

Join us on the third Thursday of each month for an opportunity to expand your network, exchange ideas, and discover new possibilities in STEM and innovation. We look forward to seeing you there!

Feeling lost and confused in 2025? Not sure what the future holds? Be encouraged and inspired at the April 17, 2025 free Inventor’s Gathering presentation by Victoria Jaqua of Open Source Medical Supplies (OSMS). First debuted in 2023 where she predicted the current 2025 trends, Victoria’s talk will guide us through the next few years of social change- as we face an enormous opportunity to rebuild public infrastructure using open source values.

Whether you're an open-source enthusiast, a community organizer, public servant, or just someone intrigued by redefining public infrastructure, your voice matters now more than ever!

Join us as we engage in this critical conversation and encourage innovative ideas with open discussion among a friendly community.
